Born in Höxter, Germany, Sebastian learned the importance of a quality brew at a very young age. Even though his career path turned into Business Process Management Software, he continually feeds his passion for beer. After moving to Florida at 26 years of age, he quickly became tired of the constant search for a quality wheat beer and a beer garden in which to enjoy said beer. Sebastian prides himself on his drive to “keep on top of his game” by sampling brew around the world in its local environment, often on the production sites. After much research and trial and error, he now custom brews Hyde Park Hooch to his specific tastes and serves it in the locally known Hoochie Mamma’s Beer Garden. Annually, Sebastian hosts an Oktoberfest like party titled Hooch Fest. Friends and fans taste new brews and compare to previous year’s brews. Souvenir Hooch Fest t-shirts are proudly worn all around Tampa Bay in remembrance of Hooch Fests past.
